Biography of Italo Calvino

Biography:
(Santiago de las Vegas, Cuba, 1923-Siena, Italia, 1985) Italian writer. fought as partisan versus fascism. At 1944 joined the Italian Communist Party (PCI). Three years later published, his first novel, "Los senderos de los nidos de araña", where tells his experience in the resistance. when the war finished, he studied literature in the University of Turín, he wrote the trilogy "Nuestros antepasados" integrated by "El vizconde demediado", "El barón rampante"

  y "El caballero inexistente". In 1957 he unlinked the PCI. Then he wrote "Las ciudades invisibles" , a nondescript book. As a last love poem  to the cities, when is  every day more difficult to live them as cities.
